Police identify body found at Brownes Beach

The man who was found dead at Brownes Beach, St Michael, on Saturday morning has been identified as Alec Orlando Bourne, 39 years, of Sealy Land, Bank Hall, in the same parish.

Police say they received a report from an anonymous caller around 5:47 a.m., stating there was a naked body at the water’s edge in the area of the Bay Street Esplanade.

It is being treated as an unnatural death.

Anyone who may have any information or knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the death of this individual is advised to contact police emergency at 211 or Hastings/Worthing Police Station at 430 7614/15. (PR/SAT)
