Yet another snake has been sighted in Greens, St George.
But this time, while removing what he and others said was a grass snake from his home, a resident was nipped on the index finger of the right hand.
The reptile was later killed.
In the DAILY NATION of Monday, March 5, residents of No. 1 and No. 2 Greens said they had caught sight of what they believed to be grass snakes around their homes and in the bush over the years, but those sightings had multiplied significantly in recent months.
Here, little David Carter Jr, of Greens, holding up the dead snake for other children of the neighbourhood to see.
