Parents keep watch in Christ Church

Share post:

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS maintained a vigil outside Deighton Griffith Secondary and Christ Church Foundation School this morning as their wards prepared to write the Common Entrance Examination.
Although the numbers were not as big as in previous years, they were just as anxious and tense.
From as early as 7 a.m., children and their guardians began arriving at Deighton Griffith and waited on the compound until the children were called.
At Foundation School, teachers issued last-minute instructions.
Principal Robert Cumberbatch, who is also a Methodist minister, started the day with prayer in the school hall.
The children were sorted in alphabetical order and then went to the various classrooms. (SAT)
