David delivers

DAVID RUDDER is not only a calypsonian. He is master of theatre and people skills. He knows what his audience wants. And he showed all that at the climax of the Naniki Music Festival on Sunday at Naniki, St Joseph.

As he made his way to the stage, Rudder teased the audience in the forecourt with the refrain of Bahia Girl, an enticing beginning to his one-hour presentation.

The iconic entertainer cemented himself into the hearts of his drooling fans with Bacchanal Lady, Calypso Music, 868 – a recent release from his new album Catharsis – and Trini To The Bone.
