Car plunges into hole at Durants

TWENTY-FIVE-YEAR-OLD Daniel Neblett of Ealing Park, Christ Church had a close call tonight when the vehicle he was driving ended up in a hole along Durants, Christ Church around 7:45.

He told NATION NEWS he was travelling to his home and there were headlights ahead of him. He held his side only to find his vehicle in a hole surrounded by some cans that did not carry any lights.

Neblett said the car plunged into the hole which is about five feet deep and then flipped over.

He hurriedly turned off the engine and made good his escape.

Police were soon on the scene trying to secure lighting for the area as many drivers passed by expressing their surprise and hope that no one had died. (JS)
