Museum craft show attracts many

THERE WAS A FESTIVE MOOD at the Barbados Museum yesterday during the second annual Crop Over Craft Works.

In addition to the traditional art, craft, tours and food, there was an entertainment component featuring the Daryl Jordan Steel Pan Band, Kid Site and Anderson Blood Armstrong, who kept the place rocking with selections old and new.

Marketing officer for the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, Janelle Edwards, said this year was better than ever. She said the event under the theme Innovation, Creativity and Design was a celebration of everything Barbadian.

“This year we increased our Bajan Eats station where we have people doing delicacies like calamari, conch and lobster. Another new feature is a farmers market with primary schools as part of the Youth Affairs Department. (CA)
