Giant killers ready

A NEW INDOOR SURFACE?

That shouldn’t be too big a challenge for the giant killers to slay.

Neither Curtis Jones nor Sheldene Walrond appears afraid of playing inside the Wildey Gymnasium for the first time, as the two said they expect the indoor court to be slow for this weekend’s National Sports Council Sport In The Community Road Tennis finals.

“I’m not worried at all because I hear it is the same paint they use on the courts in Bush Hall and I am accustomed to that already so I expect a fairly slow surface with low bounce where I can’t bully the ball or rush anything,” said Jones.
