60-year-old charged with wounding ZR driver

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED AND CHARGED Albert Granville Weekes with wounding of route taxi (ZR) driver Andrew Bullen.

It is alleged that Weekes, 60, of Silver Sands, Christ Church, was involved in an altercation with 35-year-old Bullen of Jackson, St Michael around 6:45 a.m. on Friday, resulting in the latter receiving an injury to his neck.

Bullen was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was treated and discharged.

Weekes is expected to appear at the District A Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
