It will be back to the Psychiatric Hospital for self-confessed killer Emmerson Alexander Hurdle as the No. 2 Supreme Court prepares to sentence him for killing his brother eight years ago.

Hurdle, 46, of Gall Hill, No. 2, St John, had pleaded guilty at an earlier Session of the Continuous Sittings, to unlawfully killing – manslaughter – his brother Robert Squires on August 16, 2012.

He had pleaded not guilty to the capital charge of murdering his brother on the same date.

Justice Randall Worrell requested a further psychiatric report, saying: “I want to ensure the safety of the public is taken care of.” (HLE)
