Man shot at Kingsland

A man is being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) after being shot at Crystal Crescent, Kingsland, Christ Church, on Saturday.

Police say the incident occurred around 11:15 a.m.

The victim, a 31-year-old who lives in the same community, reported he was at home when someone called at his door. When he went to the door, he saw a man wearing a black hoodie and a face mask. The person started shooting and he was injured in the right armpit.

The assailant ran away from the scene and the victim was taken to the QEH by ambulance. (PR/SAT)
