Member of Parliament for St Michael West Central Ian Gooding-Edghill made that promise to members of the Cox family who remained at the scene as firefighters quelled the blaze at their three-bedroom wall house.

“I want to commend the men and women of the Barbados Fire Service for their swift response and containing the fire, which could have created a significant challenge and could have been a major disaster in Grazettes New Road.

“The priority is to get housing and accommodation for the family, which includes an infant and the father who is disabled and we will ensure they have food,” Gooding-Edghill said. (TG)
