Jemar “Giggler” Small provided the match-winner in the 58th minute in a hard-fought match in which the pendulum swung back and forth.

Three of Empire’s strikes came from regular Empire Club players Joel Bodkin and Laurando Davis. Trinidadian-born Bodkin scored in the 17th and 47th minutes, while Davis, a son of former Barbados players Lawrence Davis and Andrea Nichols, got a goal in the 54th.

Avengers who drew first blood in the 15th minute compliments of a 15th minute strike from Che Roach, got more goals from Shomari Inniss in the 45th and Khodi Gibson in the 56th.
