Man shot in St Philip

Lawmen are investigating an incident in Harmony Lodge, St Martins, St Philip in which a 63-year-old man said two men took an undisclosed sum of money and shot him.

A media statement said police responded to the incident around 6:45 p.m. on Monday, after the man reported that he had received a gunshot wound to the left foot.

“He reported that he was sitting in the doorway of his home when he was confronted by two unknown men. The men searched him, took an undisclosed sum of money and one of the men shot him.”

The man was taken by private car to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Investigations are ongoing. (PR/KG)
