Curious drivers and onlookers paused for a glimpse as close to ten police vehicles, sirens blazing, converged along Hastings, Christ Church a short while ago.
The vehicles carried both uniformed and plainclothes officers, some of whom were armed. A number of people were taken away from the scene.
