Fogging Schedule October 19 to 23, 2020

The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness continues its fogging exercise this week in Christ Church, St Thomas and St Michael.

On Monday, areas to be fogged in Christ Church are Balmoral Gap, Marine Gardens, Queens Way, Halls Gap, Hood Road, Exerter Road, York Road, Old Navy Road, Nelson Road, Hastings, Rhystone Gardens, Brownes Gap, Rockley Village, Rockley with Avenues, Bynoe Road, Dayrells Road and environs.

On Tuesday, fogging continues in Christ Church in Chancery Lane, Old Chancery Lane, Sunrise Rise, Arawak Road, Park Road, Cassia Drive, Almond Row, Seaview Road, Golden Plower Road, Inch Marlow, Lower Amity Lodge, Rendezvous Hill, Brewster Road, Worthing with Avenues, Bamboo Road, Beckles Road, Harmony Hall, Top Rock and surrounding areas.

The Graeme Hall Swamp and environs will also be fogged on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the team will be in St Michael and St Thomas, spraying My Lord’s Hill, Jones Road, Licorish Village, Odessa McClean Drive, Belle Gully, Bennetts, Arch Hall, Arch Hall Development, Seaview and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, fogging takes place in the St Michael districts of Glendairy Road, Deanes Village, Bridge Road, School Gap, Flint Hall, Welches Terrace, Government Hill, Brankers Gap, Martinique Road, Gittens Gap and surrounding areas.

And on Friday, they will return to St Michael to fog Brandons, Holders Land, Bayswater, Birds River, Deacons Road, Deacons Farm, Ash Deane Village, Brighton, Black Rock, Carters Gap, Straker Road, Retreat Terrace and environs.

Fogging takes place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.

The public is asked to note that the completion of the scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to affected communities as soon as possible. (BGIS)
