Two female visitors and a Barbadian man are the latest people to test positive for COVID-19 in Barbados. They were all diagnosed after being tested a second time.

They are an 18-year-old female, who arrived on British Airways on October 22; a 25-year-old female, who came in on Jet Blue on October 20; and a 20-year-old male, who arrived on Air Canada on October 18.

Their results were among 396 returned by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Sunday morning from tests conducted on October 23.

Two people were discharged from the isolation facility at Harrison Point, St Lucy, on Saturday.

Currently, Barbados has 230 confirmed cases, with 210 recoveries and seven deaths. Twelve people are in isolation.

As of Friday, the laboratory completed 33 136 tests. (BGIS)
