Man who stabbed police officers dies of gunshot wound

ST GEORGE’S, Grenada – A man who stabbed two police officers on a busy street in the capital on Friday, died in hospital of a gunshot wound.

The police did not identify any of those involved in the incident, but said that the officers, including a female officer, were hospitalised.

The police said that the incident, which occurred just after midday, took place metres from the Criminal Court. The police could not say whether the man, who was shot, was a prisoner attending the court. (CMC)
