A 36-year-old visitor from Holland is the latest person to test positive for COVID-19 in Barbados.

The man, who arrived on British Airways on October 30, was confirmed positive after a second test.

Meanwhile, no one was discharged from isolation today. The number in isolation rose to eight, and recoveries remained at 222. There are 238 confirmed cases since March 16.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 480 tests yesterday, bringing the total since February to 36 364.

Barbados had seven deaths since the viral illness was first detected here.  (PR/SAT)
