One more COVID case

A 33-year-old Barbadian male was positive for COVID-19 today out of the 464 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Laboratory.

The man, who is asymptomatic, returned the positive result on his second test, after arriving in Barbados on American Airlines on November 1.

No one will be released from isolation today.

Barbados now has 239 confirmed cases, comprising 126 females and 113 males. Eight people remain in isolation and 224 have recovered. There were seven deaths.

The laboratory completed 37 546 tests since February. (PR/SAT)
