Police identified the man who was shot and killed today as Shaakil Don’ele Williams.
The 31-year-old was killed in his neighbourhood of Porters Road, Queens Street, St Peter.
Police spokesman, acting inspector Rodney Inniss said they received the call around 12:35 p.m. Williams, also known as Big Shack, was shot several times about the body.
Investigations are continuing into the 36th murder for 2020.
Police are appealing to the general public for any information which may be helpful in this matter.
