16-year-old charged in King Street murder

A 16-year-old City youth is scheduled to appear in court on Monday charged with murder and use of a firearm.

He is Jacobi Omar Fenty of King’s Village, White Park Road, St Michael, who was arrested and charged by the Major Crimes Unit in the fatal shooting of Tremaine Cummins of nearby Gills Gap.

Cummins, 21, was killed on October 24 while riding a bicycle through King’s Village.

Fenty was also charged with use of firearm and serious bodily harm to Khareem Daniel of Kendal Hill, Christ Church, who was shot in his buttocks during the same incident.

The teen is scheduled to appear at the District ‘A’ Traffic Court before Magistrate Allison Burke. (PR/SAT)
