Initially, Sherwin Ronald David Joseph told police he had nothing to do with the robbery of four men on a block and all he did was call a taxi for two men.

However, after he was picked out from a line-up, Joseph changed his tune and confessed that while he was there, he did not participate in the robbery.

Yesterday, the 36-year-old, of Nelson Street, The City, pleaded guilty, in the No. 3 Supreme Court, to robbing Alex Bovell of items, including a cell phone, worth $495; Wayne Wood of $1 929 worth of articles; Kenroy Brathwaite of items valued at $430 and Jamel Parris of $400 in articles.

He also pleaded guilty to using a firearm without a licence and stealing a tablet, worth $1 700, which belonged to Natasha Codrington.

The offences occurred on July 31, 2014. (HLE)
