Two new COVID cases

Two visitors are now positive for COVID-19 after undergoing second tests.

They are a 41-year-old man who arrived on November 7 and was retested two days later and a 62-year-old man who came to Barbados on November 18.

Both arrived on American Airlines and were asymptomatic.

No one will be discharged from isolation today and seven people remain in the facility at Harrison Point, St Lucy. To date, there were 241 recoveries and confirmed cases stand at 255, comprising 134 females and 121 males. There were seven deaths.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 358 tests on Friday and 44 146 overall. (PR/SAT)
