JCB Boscobelle held their nerve in the dying stages and came away with a thrilling two-wicket win with two balls to spare to capture the inaugural Barbados Cricket Association Intermediate Shield T20 title yesterday.
After being dismissed for a paltry 100 from 19.5 overs, Crane Resort St Catherine had Boscobelle down and almost out at ten for five after five overs.
But the St Peter side recovered well to reach 101 for eight from 19.4 overs – much to the delight of their supporters in a relatively good-sized and vocal crowd.
St Catherine fast bowler Dario Cumberbatch had the amazing figures of four for three in four overs from the Joel Garner End, but it was in vain. (EH)
