One more visitor tests positive

A 26-year-old visitor has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The woman, who arrived on British Airways on December 9, returned a positive result after a second test. She was asymptomatic.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory completed 709 tests yesterday. No one will be discharged from isolation today. As a result, there are 16 people in isolation.

Barbados has recorded 292 cases, comprising 152 females and 140 males. Of these, 269 have recovered.

Seven people have died.

To date, the public health laboratory has conducted 52 861 tests. (BGIS)
