Man injured in collision

Police said a 33-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after an incident earlier today.

According to a media statement, around 7:20 a.m., officers responded to reports of a collision at the top of Oistins Hill, near Cane Vane, Christ Church.

On arrival, it was reported that the driver had collided with a wall.

He was extracted from the vehicle by personnel from the Barbados Fire Service using the “Jaws Of Life”. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Investigations are ongoing. (PR)
