One positive test, two recoveries

A male visitor tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday. His was the only positive test among the 1 130 conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The 20-year-old man, who arrived on American Airlines on December 19, was asymptomatic and returned a positive result on his second test.

Additionally, two people recovered and were released from isolation. This brings the number of people in isolation to 32.

Barbados has 322 confirmed cases, comprising 170 females and 152 males. There have been 283 recoveries.

Seven people have died.

The public health laboratory has completed 61 024 tests. (BGIS)
