Barbados recorded four more COVID-19 cases from the 89 tests conducted on Friday by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

They are three female visitors aged 24, 44 and 68, and a 58-year-old male visitor. Three of them, who arrived on island between December 15 and 20, on West Jet and British Airways, were positive on their second test.

The 44-year-old came into contact with a known case. They are all asymptomatic.

Confirmed cases are now 356, comprising 190 females and 166 males. Five people left the isolation facility today, so recoveries moved to 301, and those in isolation to 48.

There were seven deaths.

To date, the laboratory has conducted 66 066 tests.  (BGIS)
