Old Year’s Night celebrations in Barbados could still see 2020 finishing with a bang.

That’s because some event promoters are still optimistic about their end-of-year shabangs, even as the country continues to battle with the COVID-19 pandemic.

When the Sunday Sun checked with some promoters and players in the hospitality sector, they reported that interest in events for Thursday was still high.

A representative for Cobbler’s Cove said their Brass Band, Cocktails & Canape, was still on, while Hilton Resort Barbados’ New Year’s Eve dinner and fireworks display would also be held. (TG)
