Public can ask questions during COVID update

Barbadians will get the chance to pose questions to Government officials in today’s COVID-19 update which is scheduled to take place at Ilaro Court around 6 p.m.

Prime Minister Mia Mottley will address the nation, after which she will take calls from the general public in collaboration with CBC and VOB. Callers can reach via 434-1790 on VOB and 228-5562 on CBC.

There was no update on Sunday, but Mottley; Minister of Health and Wellness, Jeffrey Bostic; Minister of Home Affairs, Information, Broadcasting and Public Affairs, Wilfred Abrahams and chairman of the COVID-19 Cabinet Sub-Committee, Senator Jerome Walcott, are scheduled to speak today.

It will also be streamed live via The Nation Barbados’ Facebook page. (PR/SAT)
