780 COVID cases, eight recoveries

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 2 004 COVID-19 tests on Wednesday, 37 of which returned positive results.

The new cases, a combination of locals and visitors, comprise 14 women and 23 men.  Eight people were released from isolation, so the number at the isolation facilities is now 438.

There were 780 confirmed cases to date – 334 females and 446 males – and 335 recoveries. The number of deaths remains at seven.

The public health laboratory completed 79 057 tests. (BGIS)
