Murder accused remanded

The man charged with last September’s murder at Oistins Bay Garden in Christ Church was remanded for three months by consent when he appeared at the Oistins’ Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Danny Lamar Husbands, 36, of Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael, was not required to plead to murdering Oluremi Young on September 4, 2020.

Station Sergeant Peter Barrow prosecuted, while the accused was represented by attorney Angella Mitchell-Gittens.

Acting Magistrate Jared Richards remanded Husbands to the temporary prison at St Ann’s Fort until April 1 after he consented to the long date. He will reappear at the Oistins court on that date. (HLE)
