UPDATE: Police identify body found

The body of a young male which was found on Thursday has been identified as Matthew Cumberbatch.

Acting Station Sergeant and acting police public relations officer Michael Blackman said around 8 a.m. police officers were on patrol in the area of Forde’s Land, White Hall, St Michael, when they received a report of a body in a track off a concrete road.

“On examination, police discovered the motionless body of a St Michael male.”

The age of the victim is unknown at this time.

Investigations are ongoing.
