Two people, one a policeman, were injured in a two-vehicle accident early yesterday morning.

It occurred on Government Hill, St Michael, near Springer Memorial School, around 5:35 a.m. and both vehicles were extensively damaged. Part of the wall of the Government Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church was damaged.

The police vehicle was driven by Constable Mario Richards, who is attached to the Black Rock Police Station, while the car was driven by Mark Parajohn, of Work Hall, St Philip.

Lawmen said Richards lost control of his vehicle, resulting in the vehicle striking the church’s guard wall before colliding with the car driven by Parajohn. (CA)
