Tasker extradition hearing adjourned

No matters were heard at the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

As a result, the extradition hearing involving former senior vice-president at the Insurance Corporation of Barbados Ltd (ICBL), Alex Theadore Tasker, was adjourned until next week Tuesday, January 19.

The United States is asking that Tasker, 60, of Mayfair Terrace, Lead Vale, Christ Church, be extradited there to face a trial for conspiracy to launder money and money laundering between August 2015 and April 2016. (HLE)
