People queued outside banks which have reopened after they were closed from February 3 to 9.

Government implemented this closure as part of a February 3 to 17 National Pause to fight the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)

During the time banks were closed, face-to-face services were restricted. Bank staff members were only permitted to perform back office functions. Online and automatic teller machine (ATM) services were also available between February 3 and 9.

There were long lines today as people waited, while observing the social distancing protocol. (KG)
