Family members of 27-year-old Andrew Winston Ellis are grieving after his body was reportedly found hanging at his Windy Ridge, Christ Church home today.
Police were on the scene, after having responded to a telephone report about 3:20 p.m. that a man had been found hanging.
“A patrol went to the residence and confirmed the discovery of the body and a medical doctor subsequently visited the scene and pronounced death,” lawmen said.
Sister Shanique Clarke said Ellis, who was born in Jamaica, was fun, always smiling and was well-known. She said he was known as “Jam” and was a member of a popular dance group.
Clarke said her brother was “never in a confrontation with anybody”.
