Charity worker Sharon Bellamy-Thompson is back on her feet.

After spending a week quarantined at her home, she said she received the good news yesterday that she tested negative for COVID-19 and, as a result, will resume her feeding programme tomorrow.

“I was so happy today when I received the negative report from the COVID team. I am so happy because I was here for the last week just studying what was my next move and how my people were being fed. It was really rough,” she said.

She was asked to quarantine last week after a homeless man tested positive for the virus.

Bellamy-Thompson, who founded the Fishers of Men charity, provides meals for homeless people twice a day, every day of the week. (MB)
