Repairs to berths and jetties soon, boats to be moved

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy will soon begin repairs of berths and jetties at the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex, in St Michael and the Berinda Cox Fish Market, Oistins, Christ Church.

A statement from the ministry today said, as a result, boat owners and fishermen will be periodically advised to move their vessels to different areas.

“Immediately vessels located in the Bridgetown market, berthed in the area of the transhipment shed, stretching to the entrance of the first jetty, are being asked to move their vessels,” the statement said. (PR)
