United States-based Rocco Bowen made it two wins in consecutive days when he piloted home Naughty Alfred in Saturday’s seventh race at Oaklawn Park, while fellow Bajan jockey Reshawn Latchman engineered a victory astride Hero’s Man at Charles Town Races.

Starting in Hot Springs Arkansas, Bowen whose season is now gathering momentum added a Waiver Claiming six furlongs sprint success to his tally of wins.

Naughty Alfred was handily positioned in third place on the outside of the leading duo of Tough Stuff and He’s No Bull.

The pair sped through fractions of 22.25 seconds, 46.06 seconds at the half mile and the five furlongs in quick 58.39 seconds. The four-year-old bay gelding then took aim at the leaders approaching the home stretch where he battled it out with Tough Stuff inside the final furlong. (LY)
