In the space of three months, Kevin DaCosta Cadogan had reduced a returning national’s bank account, which had contained just over $312 000, to $28.86.

He paid off his and his girlfriend’s loans; gave a female friend money; paid an exotic dancer in Jamaica and spent about $1 500 every night partying in various clubs.

And when police asked him how he managed to use an ATM card which carried a woman’s name, he said there were many flaws within the bank.

Yesterday, he threw in the towel and pleaded guilty to three charges when he appeared in the No. 4 Supreme Court. (HLE)
