Police were summoned to the Mighty Grynner Highway on Sunday evening just after 6 o’clock following a collision between an ATV and an SUV.
The ATV was part of a group of bikers who were riding up and down the stretch of the highway, popping wheelies and weaving in and out of traffic.
An eyewitness said this was the norm on Sundays, and people usually rushed from the nearby Brandon’s Beach and surrounding communities to cheer the riders on, but the accident put a stop to it today.
The woman who was driving the SUV was taken away by ambulance and the driver of the ATV also appeared to be injured, as he was seen hopping on the Highway.
Police dispersed the crowed which had gathered at the side of the road. It is not clear at this time if anyone was arrested. (SAT)
