Education meeting on Wednesday

Minister of Education Santia Bradshaw is scheduled to meet with principals and both teaching and non-teaching staff on Wednesday to discuss plans for the Trinity term.

The meeting will be held at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium from 1 p.m., according to a circular signed by acting Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson.

In order to facilitate the meeting, online instruction should finish at 11:30 a.m.

Stakeholders are invited to the face-to-face session to which masks must be worn and COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Provisions will also be made for those who wish to participate online.

Meanwhile, the Hilary term, which was scheduled to end on March 31, will now end on Friday. The remaining days of the term will be set aside for teachers to complete reports and for planning meetings.

The Trinity term is scheduled to begin on April 20, 2021. (SAT)
