5 new cases, 22 recoveries

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified five new cases of COVID-19, two women and three men, on Sunday, March 28 from 240 tests conducted.

Meanwhile, 22 people recovered and were released from isolation. There are currently 150 people in isolation.

Barbados recorded 3 634 cases comprising 1 747 females and 1 887 males, and 3 444 people recovered from COVID-19 since tit was first recorded here.  The virus claimed 41 lives.

Since February 2020, the public health laboratory conducted 140 015 tests.

A total of 63 689 vaccinations were administered – 26 325 men and 37 364 women – during the first phase of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
