Barbadian cyclist Amber Joseph says her main goals are to compete at the 2021 Junior Pan Am Games and the Pan Am Track Championships later this year following the cancellations and stoppages of the last cycling season.

The 21-year-old recently returned to England from Barbados, where she spent the last three months training in the warmer climate. As she continues her rigorous training overseas, Joseph says she is focused on performing well.

“I have quite a big calendar if all goes to plan. It would be amazing to medal at the Pan Am Games and that is a big goal for me this year,” she declared.

“There is also the Pan Am Track Championships that I would like to do well in also and there will be a few other races that are going to be stepping stones to those bigger goals. I competed at the UCI Road World Championships in September of last year and that was a real accomplishment for me,” she noted. (NM)
