Ten new cases, 18 recoveries

Barbados recorded 10 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, March 30.

The four men and six women were identified from among 369 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Eighteen people recovered from the virus and were released from isolation. There are now 134 people in isolation.

The total confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded in Barbados since March 2020 are 3 652 – 1 757 females and 1 895 males – while 3 475 people recovered from the virus. There were 42 deaths from COVID-19.

So far, the public health laboratory has conducted 140 874 tests.

To date, 63 715 vaccinations – 26 322 men and 37 383 women – were administered as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
