Folks missing Fish Festival

For many vendors, fisherfolk and patrons, the annual Oistins Fish Festival will be sorely missed again this year.

This weekend, hundreds of Barbadians and visitors would have been descending on the Christ Church location to sample and enjoy the treats, thrills and sample the wares on show.

The highlights included the dolphin-skinning, fish-boning and greasy pole competitions, which would climax the week-long festival on Easter Monday.

However, because of restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival was cancelled last year and also will not be taking place this year. (CA)
