Saffie saddles five weekend winners

It was another bumper Saturday at the office for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr as he recorded a second consecutive five wins over the weekend, inclusive of a beaver-trick at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach.

The stellar performance by Bailey, Twelve Volt Man, Causalistic and Twenty Four Seven has propelled Joseph to the top of the Gulfstream Park Spring/Summer meet trainers standing on eight wins.

Joseph’s fifth win of the day came through Ain’t Wasting Time in the Tampa Bay Downs ninth race in Oldsmar, Florida.

It was another impressive performance from the 34-year-old Joseph, who hails from Thorpes Cottage, Holders Hill, St James. (LY)
