A man who said he threw faeces at six men who “came at me”, ended up with a suspended sentence when he appeared in District “A” Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

Damien Omar Clarke, 35, of Block 2C Farm Road, Deacons Farm, St Michael, pleaded guilty that he, without lawful excuse, damaged a chair and guard wall belonging to Sangene Brathwaite on April 15.

The court heard that the complainant’s son was making breakfast when he heard a noise. He looked out and saw Clarke throwing faeces on the guard wall. He was eventually arrested and admitted taking the chair.

Clarke, who had ten previous convictions, told Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes: “I throw at them to get them off me. Six men I throw the faeces at.” (RA)
