Eleven people were discharged from isolation on Sunday, April 25, while three new positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) were diagnosed by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
The cases, two men and one woman, were identified from the 296 tests conducted. Presently, 102 people remain in isolation.
To date, Barbados has recorded 3 828 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1 865 women and 1 963 men) while there have been 3 746 recoveries. Forty-four people have died from the virus.
A total of 152 099 tests have been carried out by the public health laboratory.
Under the National Vaccination Programme, 73 590 vaccinations – 30 375 men and 43 215 women – have been administered. (BGIS)
